Automotive and inverter batteries are typically sold with a two-stage warranty: a Free Replacement period, during which a genuinely defective battery is replaced at no cost, followed by a Pro-Rata period, during which a defective battery is eligible for a partial-cost replacement, scaled down the longer you've owned it.
The exact Free Replacement and Pro-Rata durations vary by product and manufacturer — check the specific product's page for its warranty terms, or the physical warranty card included with your battery.
