Exchanging your old battery for credit toward a new purchase.

Real, current limitation: the stated credit is deducted at checkout based on your declared eligibility, not after we've inspected the old battery. If it turns out not to qualify, you pay the difference — and for orders already paid online, we collect that difference separately (phone/WhatsApp/UPI), since there's no automated way yet to charge an additional amount against a completed online payment.

How it works today

On an eligible product's page, you can choose "With old battery exchange" — the listed credit is deducted immediately from the price you pay at checkout, before you've handed over the old battery. Eligibility and the exact credit amount depend on the old battery's category, shown on the product page at the time you choose.

At delivery or installation, our team inspects the old battery against the stated eligibility (same general category, not leaking). If it qualifies, nothing further happens — the credit you already received stands.

If it doesn't qualify — or you don't have an old battery to hand over after all — the credit is reversed and you owe the difference. For Cash on Delivery orders, our delivery team collects it on the spot. For orders already paid online, there's no automated way yet to charge the difference against that payment — our team will contact you directly (phone/WhatsApp/UPI) to collect it.

Condition requirements

The old battery must be the same general category (e.g. a car battery exchanged against a car battery purchase), not leaking, and presented at the time of delivery or installation for inspection.

What happens to the old battery

Collected old batteries are passed on for recycling through our suppliers' own collection arrangements with the battery manufacturers (lead-acid battery take-back and recycling is a producer responsibility under the Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022).
